Introducing our dedicated website for employers and HR professionals – KIHRA

Over 100,000 employers face Employment Tribunal claims every year with the associated costs and damages.  Many of these claims could have been avoided if employers had taken prompt expert employment law advice.  At Keebles we appreciate the need to provide this advice in a clear and cost effective format.  To meet this need we created KIHRA in 2019 to provide an online 24/7 resource focusing on guidance notes and template documents throughout the complete employment life cycle from recruitment to termination of employment. These guidance notes and template documents are prepared and updated regularly by our team of 5 qualified specialist employment law solicitors, who are experienced in advising both private and public sector organisations.

The employment law field is ever changing. KIHRA aims to protect and save employers and HR professionals money, by providing up to date, practical guidance and template documents relating to all aspects of employment and human resources matters. A fixed price annual subscription to KIHRA will offer subscribers access to template documents, guidance notes, topical articles and invitations to free monthly virtual events being run by the employment law experts at Keebles LLP.  Using KIHRA, employers are able to ensure they are complying with employment law whilst running their organisation.

How could this work for your organisation?

All employers, irrespective of size and sector, are required to provide a minimum level of employment information to their employees and other workers.  A KIHRA subscriber has access to a model contract of employment and employee handbook which can be downloaded and customised to suit their own organisation.

Access to KIHRA, however, goes far beyond a template contract of employment and employee handbook.  The template document portal offers over 40 documents which range from a template to disciplinary hearing invite, and a performance improvement plan. The documents are designed to equip you and your business throughout the employment lifecycle.  All these template documents can be freely downloaded and then amended with the specific details of each individual matter. We offer over 40 guidance notes, which provide a range of advice, from recruitment and interviewing potential employees, to advice on matters arising during the course of employment such as a disciplinary or grievance procedure and guidance on terminating employment. Our document portal and guidance notes are regularly reviewed and we commit to updating all documents on an annual basis.

How much does this cost?

We offer a fixed fee 12-month subscription to KIHRA at £500 plus VAT.  There are no automatic renewals, nor are there any long 3- 5 year contract terms.  There is no restriction on usage or number of users within a single employer. You are able to access KIHRA in its entirety at any time that is convenient for you.  This subscription can also be linked to a wider employment law retainer which gives you access to bespoke employment law advice from your dedicated expert employment solicitor.  These retainers can include either unlimited or capped hourly retainer packages for employment law advice from your dedicated employment solicitor for a fixed fee.

So far we have helped over 50 organisations, who use KIHRA for their employment law needs. We are very happy to talk to you about how we can help your organisation and can offer a free monthly trial to KIHRA so you can test out the service and see whether KIHRA can help your organisation.
