Double shortlisting for Keebles at 2019 Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been nominated twice at the Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards 2019 for our involvement in two major deals this year.
The nominations across two categories include one for Deal of the Year (between £5m – £25m), for our team’s role on the Operam Education Group investment from BGF and the acquisitions of Teachers UK and The Education Specialists.
Keebles were also nominated in the National/International Deal of the Year in recognition of their role in advising HSBC in BGF’s investment in Red Industries and the acquisition of the Environmental Resource Group.
The nominations continue a string of awards successes for Keebles in 2019, as we were also named the second most active dealmaker in Yorkshire and Humber region by Experien’s M&A Review table for the first quarter of 2019.
At the Sheffield City Region Dealmakers’ Awards earlier this year, Keebles were also named the Corporate Law Firm of the Year for the third year running, as well as winning three other categories.
Matt Ainsworth, who heads our Corporate Department, said: “I’m extremely proud that we’ve received two nominations at this year’s Yorkshire Dealmakers’ Awards.
Being shortlisted against tough competition from across the region really is a credit to the hard work of our team.”
The award winners are set to be announced on 21 November at New Dock Hall, Leeds.
