Commercial Property

Property Management

Property owners and occupiers often share responsibility for the management of a building and should be mindful of Employment laws, Health & Safety Guidelines and recommended practices for cleaning standards and the safety of employees. For retail or other properties open to the public enhanced cleaning may be required on a regular basis.

Transactions

Purchase and sale agreements typically include provisions that “time is of the essence.” A prudent buyer may seek to include force majeure clauses that will either excuse or delay performance under the agreement if certain circumstances occur or otherwise include some flexibility in the time for performance.
