Charise specialises in commercial debt recovery, advising and assisting clients both prior to and following the commencement of legal proceedings. She also regularly provides bespoke in-house training for clients and presents on issues relating to debt recovery and credit control.
She has acted for several clients across the UK ranging from small owner-manged businesses to large PLCs. Particular expertise acting for steel manufacturers and stockholders, aggregates businesses, logistics businesses, property developers and clients in the manufacturing & engineering and automotive sectors.
Working with a wide range of local and national clients, Craig advises on all aspects of debt recovery, both before and after commencement of legal proceedings, in order to provide low cost and effective recovery of outstanding debt.
Craig also has a wide range of experience in insolvency alternatives to debt recovery, and regularly issues Winding Up Petitions and progresses these from the beginning to the conclusion of the Court process in an effort to achieve quick results.
Craig began his career at Keebles in 2015 as an administrative assistant, assisting with the day to day administration duties in the Leeds office and assisting multiple departments, notably the Corporate partner in Leeds with proofreading documents.
Within 18 months of beginning his career, he was then promoted to Paralegal in the debt recovery department and quickly found his feet from issuing LBA’s to commencing legal proceedings. 12 months following this, Craig embarked on the CILEx Graduate Fast Track programme and is due to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive in Autumn 2021.
Curtis provides specialist advice in respect of contested litigation matters. He is particularly lengthy experienced in small claims litigation and advises on all debt related matters from pre-action negotiation, issuing proceedings through to enforcement as well as commencing various insolvency actions.
Curtis has several years’ experience in litigation and is continuing to increase his exposure to higher value and more complex matters. He is currently progressing his way through his Level 6 CILEx to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020/2021.
Izzy joined the firm in October 2018 to assist with all elements of administration within the Debt Recovery department supporting the department administrator. In 2020 she took over responsibility for all department administration including file opening, client queries and drafting documentation including demands to debtors.
Izzy also assists other members of the team with certain fee earning matters and intends to increase her experience in this area.

She specialises in advising companies and individuals on options for recovering sums owed and how best to resolve commercial disputes.
